Shabbir is a principal leading the banking practice at Xaid.  Shabbir has over 30 years of experience in the Middle East banking industry and has been involved in various capacities including program director and PMO director in core banking and payment system implementations for more than 15 banks in the region.  Shabbir also specializes in retail Islamic Banking and has implemented the region's first conversion to Islamic of a leading lender.  

An Ex-PWC Manager, Mahmoud heads PMO practice and serves as our resident client services director in Egypt and North Africa.  Mahmoud brings 15 years' experience in IT and Transformation PMOs.  He led the PMO team for a mega transformation program at a large Islamic Bank in the GCC and a Central Bank in North Africa.  In addition to setting up and running PMOs, Mahmoud is an experienced ERP project manager and has implemented SAP and Oracle projects for various clients.

Stephen leads the testing services practice at Xaid.  With nearly 40 years of experience in Information Technology, Stephen has led QA and Testing for various banking and telecom clients in Europe, Middle East and Asia.  Stephen has been the Head of Global Testing at Citibank for their global AML systems.  Stephen has worked for organizations including BT, OmanTel, Nokia Networks as a Test Manager, Project Manager and Data Architect & Application Architect.   

 Bonnie specializes in the implementation of core banking, trade, treasury, payment and AML systems.  Bonnie has 30+ years' experience with various banks where he successfully supported implementations in roles including Functional Analyst, Change Management Lead and Project Manager.  These banks include Citibank Kenya, Stanbic - Standard Chartered Bank Kenya, Qatar Islamic Bank, Kenya Commercial Bank and The World Bank Group

 With over 20 years of experience including 16 years with Standard Chartered Bank in Sri Lanka and UAE, Chaminda specializes in business advisory and project management of retail payment systems including EFT Switches, Card Management Systems, ePayment systems and digital banking.  Chaminda also has niche skills in data center operations.  Prior to Xaid, Chaminda was the head of cards center at Pan Asia Banking Corporation in Sri Lanka

As a Consulting Director and Lead Program Manager / Advisor, Nancy draws upon more than 26 years' experience in the IT Industry.  Having built her career ground up as a Systems Engineer in the telecom industry, she has specialized in banking systems and ERP / Finance systems in other industries.  Nancy is a certified PRINCE2 and ITIL practitioner.  Nancy has served clients in Egypt and the GCC region.  She has recently led a PMI for a GCC bank in North Africa

Murray brings 41 Years of experience as an Architect and Technical Lead, specializing in banking systems specifically BANCS.  Murray has successfully implemented BANCS on different platforms in more than 32 countries and some of his largest successes include State Bank of India, National Commercial Bank.  Murray is skilled on multiple platforms including HP, IBM, Sun and mainframes.  He also supports BANCS clients in performance optimization.

Currently servicing clients in Egypt, Asmaa Hassan is a project manager and PMO specialist.  For over 13 years Asmaa has been in working in various capacities in Information Technology.  Her core specialization is in the delivery of ERP projects, specifically Oracle eBusiness Suite.  Asmaa is currently engaged as a PMO lead with a large bank in Egypt where we are engaged in providing PMO services to manage the Post Merger Integration of 2 foreign banks.
